Best Lightroom Presets for Portraits

I love taking portrait photographs – taking portraits is so much fun I’m always surprised how even when I go and take portraits in the very same place, it always looks completely different. ¬†ūüôā

Some of the questions I get asked a lot about my processing is…
  • What am I using at the moment?
  • What do I suggest using for portraits?
  • What my favourite Lightroom Presets are for portraits

So, here’s a list of my favourites…

What Lightroom Presets I use…

With each season the light changes, which means the processing changes too.

So the processing products I use will change from time to time.

However, everything I use, and my sisters use, is available on this website – ¬†after all,¬†“we only sell, what we use”… so if something doesn’t work for us, we won’t release it!

Portrait Photography – Top 3 Lightroom Presets I use:

Has quickly become a HUGE favourite of mine. Originally for Photoshop (see Whipped Cream Photoshop Action РKing Pack), since releasing it for Lightroom, I have been using it like crazy Рon all sorts of photographs, from portraits, to landscape, to indoor shots too!
Here is one of many photographs, processed with the delicious Whipped Cream!

Glorious Sunshine

Soft Afternoon Lightroom is our #1 bestselling preset if you look at the before and afters you will see how it adds a lovely glow to your photographs which is quite unique to this preset.
It’s beautiful for spring and summer photography.¬†I usually go straight to it when I’m processing, because I know the results will be great!
Spring Girl

The name pretty much says it all. I love using it on my more “chilly” photographs it make the whole photograph light up when you use it and give it that wonderful colour of warm, golden tones.
Here is another recent photograph, processed with the very popular Golden Colouring!

Colourful - Day 139/365
